CENTRAL BEDFORDSHIRE COUNCIL PROPOSES TO INTRODUCE A 40MPH SPEED LIMIT ON SHEFFORD ROAD, MEPPERSHALL
Reason for proposal: The speed limit is intended to act as a buffer between the existing 30mph and National Speed Limit sections of Shefford Road.
Effect of the Order:
To introduce a 40mph Speed Limit on the following lengths of road in Meppershall:-
- Shefford Road, from the southern spur of the A507 roundabout and extending in a southerly direction for approximately 123 metres.
- Shefford Road, from a point in line with the existing 30mph restriction and extending in a northely direction for approximately 110 metres.
